As a matter of fact, there have been two instances of more than 70 tornadoes in one night over the past 6 years. This morning was no exception. The weather station logged over 70 mph winds and a tornado this morning in Southwest Springfield, MO and Republic, MO. Trees are down over the city, and many houses are damaged.
